Using our MATLAB controller tuning tools and BHawC (our in-house aeroelastic wind turbine simulation code), you will investigate controller solutions to optimize the balance between turbine loads, turbine behaviour, and power production.

Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will review simulation results, apply engineering judgement to identify the next steps, and coordinate with teams across Turbine Loads, Software, Certification, Testing, and component design. As you gain experience and the project progresses, you will also work with prototype data and support turbine validation activities at our test site in Østerild.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on wind turbine controller development, tuning and validation. It is not a project management or software development position, although you will collaborate closely with both disciplines.
