Temporary position more than 6 months · Full time. Requisition: 2026/992. Country: Denmark. At the Department of Culture and Communication, the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, a position as assistant professor in the research project Infrastructuring the Public Sector’s Use of AI (IPA) is available from 1 February 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
It is a 3-years full-time position that includes both research and teaching activities. The position is situated at Aalborg University's Copenhagen campus where it will be part of the Techno-Anthropology Lab. JOB DESCRIPTION For appointment as an assistant professor, the ideal candidate is expected to:
- - conduct and publish research at a high-quality level contributing to the key aims and obligations of the IPA project.
- See the project description here.
- use the IPA project as a basis for developing a broader research agenda within STS, governance studies and infrastructure studies in collaboration with Professor Torben Elgaard Jensen (leader of the IPA project).
- have substantive experience with ethnographic research on the emerging organizational, societal and governmental responses to the current transformations of computational practices and digital infrastructures1 …
