Work across biomedical engineering, biology and human physiology while shaping a research group and a degree programme. Anchored in DTU Health Tech’s Drug Delivery and Sensing section (IDUN), this part-time (50%) Associate Professorship combines Group Leader and engagement in design of the BSc programme in Medicine and Technology.
Through the Technical University Hospital (TUH) ecosystem, you will connect DTU, University of Copenhagen and regional hospitals, turning clinical needs into research, education and innovation. Responsibilities and qualifications Your research will bridge biological function and clinical needs with engineered solutions.
Biomedical interfaces may include ingestible and implantable devices, sensing and actuation systems, and technologies supporting robot-assisted or minimally invasive procedures. Work may span anatomical phantoms and ex vivo tissue models to in vivo preclinical studies, with AI and data-driven methods integrated into systems.
