Professor in Quantum Technology Based on Solid-State Quantum Systems – DTU Physics

DTU Physics invites applications for a position as Full Professor in Quantum Technology based on Solid-State Quantum Systems. The position is intended to strengthen DTU Physics’ strategic activities in quantum technology, with a particular focus on solid-state quantum systems for quantum sensing and quantum information processing.

We seek an internationally leading researcher with a strong scientific track record, clear leadership profile, and the ambition to build and further develop a world-class research activity at DTU. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and highly collaborative quantum research environment at DTU Physics.

The position is based in the Quantum Physics and Information Technology section and at bigQ – Center for Macroscopic Quantum States, a Danish National Center of Excellence in quantum information science and technology. The role is embedded within a broad and active ecosystem of quantum technology initiatives spanning DTU, national Danish programs, European research collaborations, and partnerships with industry.
