About the role

You will join a growing AI team of 13 talented colleagues with a shared mission: transforming data and AI into measurable business value for Flatpay and our merchants. As a Data Scientist, you will design, build, and productionize GenAI-powered products and pipelines that support business-critical processes across the organization. A key area of focus will be improving and automating our Know Your Customer (KYC) flows.

You will develop multimodal AI solutions that can process and validate documents and images, extract structured information, populate required fields, and submit cases directly to our acquiring partners. These workflows are critical to the onboarding of new merchants and require a strong focus on accuracy, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.

Beyond KYC, you will work broadly across GenAI use cases involving LLMs, document processing, data enrichment, workflow automation, analytics, and internal or customer-facing applications. You will own the implementation of solutions together with colleagues from the AI team and the wider business.
