Underground Engineer for tunnels and underground structures

Would you like to design the structures that make our cities work below ground? Pipe jacking and segmental lining TBM tunnels, deep shafts, diaphragm walls, cut and cover structures, station boxes and cross passages, in Copenhagen, in Scandinavia and internationally.

We are looking for underground design engineers who work broadly across underground structures rather than within a single niche, and who enjoy moving between structural design, soil structure interaction and construction methodology. Our department is growing, and we are expanding the team to match a strong pipeline of tunnelling and underground projects in Denmark and abroad.

Depending on your experience, you will join us as an Engineer or as a Senior Engineer. What do we offer in NIRAS You get to put your name on some of the most demanding underground projects in Scandinavia. Right now our tunnel and underground work includes:
