• Job duties and responsibilities - Sanding, pressure washing, and cleaning surfaces.
• - Applying various types of coatings.
• - Painting surfaces to achieve a professional finish.
• Job requirements - Minimum 2-3 years of documented experience in a similar role.
• - Thorough understanding of safety procedures related to oil tanks, storage facilities, and refineries.
• - Knowledge of Ultra High Pressure (UHP) cleaning up to 3,000b.
• - Knowledge of sandblasting to SA 2.5 standards.
• - Experience with pre-treatment of rust, weld seams, and other impurities on steel and metal surfaces using tools like wire brushes and flap discs.
• - Knowledge of applying multi-layer paint systems (primer, intermediate coat, topcoat) to steel and metal surfaces, achieving specific layer thicknesses (e.g., 260µ).
