System Programmer z/OS

The role

As a System Programmer z/OS, you will have the opportunity to influence how our mainframe platform evolves in the years to come. The role requires both deep technical expertise and the ability to assess the broader consequences of changes across systems and the organisation.

Your tasks will include

- Manage and support the z/OS environment, including TSO, ISPF, SMP/E, GDPS, MFA, JES2 and SYSPLEX, and assess the impact of configuration changes with particular focus on security and segregation of duties (SoD) - Ensure the continuous optimisation of system designs, taking into account system complexity, security, company standards and performance - Take ownership of system issues and proactively address them to minimise downtime -1 …
