Consultancy in surgery combined with a clinical professorship in colorectal cancer

Employment type: FULLTIME. Requisition: 3122991. A clinical position as consultant of surgery at the Digestive Disease Center at Copenhagen University Hospital – Bispebjerg Frederiksberg Hospital is open for appointment from as soon as possible.

The position is combined with a 5-year externally funded position as clinical professor of surgery with special focus on colorectal cancer at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. It is a requirement that the applicant is accepted for appointment of both the professorship and the consultancy.

In Abdominalcenter K, we provide routine emergency and elective surgery, and we have a regional function in the treatment of giant hernias and parastomal hernias as well as complex anal fistulas. In addition, the department also provides specialist treatment of colorectal cancer. Abdominalcenter K also provides medical gastroenterology and hepatology treatment.
