The Danish Centre for Motivation and Behaviour Science (DRIVEN), Research Unit for Behaviour Science, Motivation and Health (STRIVE) at the Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics (IOB), invites applications for a fixed-term, part-time (80%) postdoc position commencing as soon as possible and ending 30 September 2028.

The position is established in connection with the joint project “mPADapp - Digital Decision Support for Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)” between DRIVEN (SDU), the Institute of Clinical Medicine (IMK) at Aarhus University and the Vascular Research Unit at Viborg Regional Hospital. About the project Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) is a major vascular health issue affecting quality of life, mobility, and survival.

The mPADapp project aims to improve adherence to clinical guidelines for PAD treatment via an interactive decision support tool. The tool will be integrated into a mobile app for patients and into healthcare providers’ systems, to enhance understanding, motivation, and behaviour change around preventive treatments (e.g. medication adherence, smoking cessation, physical activity etc.)1 …
