The Department of Ecoscience, Aarhus University, invites applications for a full-time researcher position (tenure track), focusing on marine ecosystem modelling. Expected start date and duration of employment This is a full-time position starting on 1 January 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter.

Job description You will contribute to research and advice for authorities on marine ecosystems. The work will consider the impacts of stressors to marine systems, such as climate change impacts, eutrophication, hypoxia, aquaculture, fishery, offshore platforms, invasive species and pollution and are often related to the EU and National Directives.

You will be a part of the marine ecology group that covers research and advisory tasks across the marine environment mainly related to Danish and Arctic waters. You will be involved in the further development and application of the FlexSem model system, which is a framework developed by the model group to describe the dynamics of coastal marine systems.
