Postdoc in High-Speed Nonlinear Terahertz Imaging - DTU Electro

Are you interested in developing new technologies for high-speed terahertz (THz) imaging? At DTU Electro, you will work at the interface of ultrafast THz photonics, nonlinear optics, and coherent imaging to develop a new generation of broadband THz imaging technology.

We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher in ultrafast THz photonics to join our team on a project funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The project aims to develop high-speed, hyperspectral, and super-resolution THz imaging by combining broadband THz-to-near-infrared upconversion with focal-plane-array detection.

Responsibilities and qualifications You will play a central role in developing and demonstrating a new generation of high-speed coherent THz imaging technology. Working closely with researchers at DTU Electro and our project partners, your main responsibilities will include:

• - Design, build, and characterize a high-speed coherent THz imaging system with focal-plane-array detection.
• - Perform broadband THz generation, detection, spectroscopy, and imaging experiments using an ultrafast laser system.
• - Develop and demonstrate hyperspectral THz imaging for spatially resolved spectroscopy and material identification.
