Modelshop Intern

Employment type: INTERN. Requisition: 3122041. BIG is looking for 4 talented architecture, industrial design and modelmaking students with a particular interest in physical model making and architectural fabrication to join our Copenhagen office. As a Modelshop Intern, you will work alongside our Modelshop team and architecture project teams to design and produce physical models and mock-ups.

The role offers hands-on experience across all aspects of working in a professional model workshop, including model production, digital fabrication, equipment management, workshop upkeep and facility improvement.

Please note

This internship must run for a minimum of six months from February/March 1st, 2027.

The role

As a Modelshop Intern, you will contribute to the design and production of models across a range of projects, from quick study models to detailed presentation models. You will work closely with architects, engineers, landscape architects and product designers, helping translate architectural ideas into physical objects.
