Prototype Engineering Specialist (12 months cover position)

Country: Denmark. Coordinate complex prototype activities that enable better medical devices. At Coloplast, we develop products and services that make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs. In this role, you help our development projects turn product concepts into prototypes: for design iterations, usability studies, clinical trials, and design verification.

You bring structure to technically complex work. You connect engineers, manufacturing specialists and project teams around one plan. Your job is to build the integrated overview, maintain appropriate traceability and make the complete prototype flow work across the relevant stages of product development Make complex prototype flows work You coordinate prototype activities in complex development projects.

That can mean multiple prototype variants, several manufacturing steps or sites, shifting levels of design maturity, demanding traceability requirements, or a wide stakeholder group. This is an engineering-based coordination role: you will not be expected to manufacture the prototypes yourself or replace the technical specialists who define the prototype needs and requirements.
