Apply today and help shape the virus safety strategies behind tomorrow’s therapeutic products What you’ll do As an Advanced Development Scientist in the Virus Safety team, you will work with experts across the Chemistry, Manufacturing & Control (CMC) Drug Development organisation to develop and manage virus safety strategies for Drug Substance projects.

You will advise stakeholders, contribute to cross-disciplinary project teams and coordinate activities that ensure the virus safety of mammalian-expressed products in development. A central part of the role is planning, executing and analysing downscaled downstream purification experiments. Your work will support the development of robust purification processes that remove and/or inactivate viruses.
