The research project The PhD position offers the opportunity to take part in an engaging research environment as the position forms part of a larger research project called ‘Entangled Relations: gendered violence, intoxication and institutional responses to intimate partner violence in Denmark’ headed by Associate Professor Margit Anne Petersen and funded by the ROCKWOOL Foundation.

The overall research project investigates the relation between gender, intoxication and intimate partner violence (IPV) in Denmark through a dual perspective:

1) Individual subjective experiences of living with and handling various forms of IPV, including processes of seeking official and unofficial forms of help, reporting to the police or other authorities, or deciding not to report1 …
