Technician at the Mads Clausen Institute at SDU Sønderborg

Employment type: FULLTIME. At the Mads Clausen Institute (MCI) in Sønderborg a position as a technician is vacant with employment starting October 1st, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is for two years.

MCI, which is part of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark and located both in Odense and in Sønderborg, currently has more than 100 employees in education, research and innovation. In Sønderborg, MCI consists of the NanoSYD centre, the Center for Materials Analysis and Characterization (CMAC) and the Center for Advanced Photovoltaics (CAPE).

During the last years we have been in a process of constant expansion. To further strengthen our technical research and innovation activities within MCI, we are looking for a flexible and ambitious technician. As a technician you will be working closely with the lab managers to support the different units in-house in the fulfillment of various tasks.
