HSE Technician

Employment type: FULLTIME. HSE Technician As HSE Technician within our NOV Flexibles team in Kalundborg, you will support the day-to-day provision of HSE support, training and reporting functions at the site. You will maintain positive and proactive relationships with key stakeholders and employees, working closely with shop floor operators to educate and train them on HSE risks in daily operations.

You will also assist with implementing and updating the strategy for identified key risk areas, communicate changes and process improvements, and actively participate in formal and informal communication to increase awareness and understanding of HSE issues. The role will also take the lead in reviewing work practices and ensuring recommendations and process improvements from the shop floor are documented correctly.

Responsibilities

Ensure company HSE policies and guidelines are met by communicating and having dialogue around key risk areas to and from the shop floor. Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees, contractors and visitors.

Be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and maintenance of internal HSE processes, including Permit to Work, observations, inspections, PPE support, chemicals, safety meetings and contractor introductions.
