About the role
Control Tower is the internal platform our operations teams use to run freight on DFDS ferry routes: customer setup, bookings, preparing shipments for departure, tracking cargo in transit and closing things off afterwards. It is replacing a legacy system from the 90s, so there is plenty of room to do things properly and to make a visible difference for the people who use it every day.
We are a small frontend team in Copenhagen working closely with a product designer and several backend teams. We own a Next.js monorepo and the internal component library it is built on, and we ship often.
