Assistant Professorship in Human-Centred Computing
Opportunity summary
Employment type: FULLTIME. Requisition: 3115667. The Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen invites applications for an Assistant Professorship (non-tenure track) in Human-Centred Computing. The expected start date is January 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter.
We are looking for candidates with broad skills in human-computer interaction and related fields, and a proven track record of influential research, including publications at the highest level, such as ACM CHI, CSCW and TOCHI.
We are open to different specialities within HCI, but are particularly interested in candidates whose skills would complement and strengthen the current focus of the Human-Centred Computing (HCC) section. This includes those with a track record in human-centred AI, VR, healthcare, design, theory, critical perspectives, or human-robot interaction.
The position involves contributing to and strengthening the HCC section, including teaching and course responsibility for relevant BSc and MSc courses within Computer Science, as well as co-teaching on the Communication and IT bachelor's and master's programmes.
