NTS/EORE - Team Member

DanChurchAid (DCA) Syria invites applications for an experienced NTS/EORE Team Member to join our dedicated team. - Under the supervision of the NTS/EORE Team Leader, undertake assigned Non-Technical Survey (NTS) and Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) activities in accordance with applicable DCA procedures and operational tasking.

- Conduct NTS through the systematic collection, recording and reporting of information from communities, authorities and other relevant sources relating to suspected explosive ordnance contamination and humanitarian impact, without independently determining land classification or land-release outcomes.

- Deliver EORE using approved DCA messages, materials and methodologies to increase awareness of explosive ordnance risks and promote safer behaviour, while supporting appropriate community engagement, data collection and reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Conduct assigned NTS activities through the systematic collection and recording of information from relevant sources using approved DCA NTS formats and procedures.
