Teacher of Music at the European School Copenhagen (maternity cover)

European School Copenhagen is seeking a Teacher of Music. The position is a 30% temporary position in our Secondary (6th-8th Grade) department from 1st of November 2026 until 30th of April 2027, corresponding to 6 x 45-minute Music lessons per week. The lessons are on Tuesday afternoons, Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings. The classes can be taught in either English or French.

We expect that you - have the appropriate educational qualifications to teach Music in Secondary (Folkeskolen’s 6.-9. klasse) - have experience in international or intercultural education - have focus on student’s learning and wellbeing in accordance with the school’s values - have a desire to contribute to the ongoing development of the school - enjoy collaborating with international colleagues on learning and development - are independent and robust and can navigate a changing everyday life The ideal candidate will have - proficiency in English to actively participate in our international team, as English is our common working language - strong social and communications skills - good IT skills We offer - supportive, dedicated and ambitious community of colleague1 …
