Professional Services & Consulting (broad employer-services fallback). The National Centre for Climate Research (NCKF) at the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) is seeking a student helper as soon as possible to contribute to various IT related tasks within NCKF’s unit:
Satellites and the Arctic (NCKF-SAT). You will become part of DMI’s NCKF research department and work closely with DMI’s skilled and dedicated employees in the unit on assisting in the operational implementation and monitoring of processing jobs.
About the role
At DMI AND NCKF-SAT, we work on developing algorithms that can relate large amounts of satellite measurements to physical parameters, such as ocean and sea ice temperature or sea ice extent and concentration. The algorithms are often developed and put in production to deliver near-real-time products to users. You will mainly assist the researchers in implementing processing jobs for operational production suites.
