Postdoc in Chemical Immunology - DTU Health Tech
Opportunity summary
We offer a fully funded 3-year postdoc position starting in March 2027. The project will investigate the chemical synthesis, formulation, in vivo delivery and immunoregulatory action of a series of novel compounds that we have produced in-house. More specifically, we will use and improve these compounds for delivery into mice and test their ability to modulate inflammation and cancer immunity.
The position is in close collaboration with Professor Katrine Qvortrup at DTU Chemistry and Associate Professor Andrew Urquhart at DTU Health Tech. You will join a dynamic and international team that utilizes in vivo mouse work and human clinical samples to understand the signaling pathways that govern immune cell development and their importance in various diseases, such as cancer and inflammation.
The team has a strong ethos of direct collaboration, and you will be often asked to help with and be involved in other projects as a result of helping your colleagues. The group is part of the Section for Experimental and Translation Immunology at the Department of Health Technology. Our section has all the necessary infrastructure and comprises of diverse teams with multiple technical and theoretical expertise.
