Principal Design System Engineer

Employment type: FULLTIME. Requisition: 8552246. We are looking for an experienced Principal Design System Engineer to help shape and drive the continued evolution of Lighthouse Design System, 3Shape’s design system across web, mobile, and on-premises software solutions.

You will be the first dedicated Design System engineer and will be overall responsible for defining the technical direction and development of Lighthouse Design System. In this role, you will combine technical leadership, hands-on engineering, and cross-functional collaboration.

Together with other colleagues, you will build a scalable foundation that enables our product teams to efficiently deliver consistent, accessible, and high-quality experiences. To achieve this, you will be balancing technical solutions with stakeholder management – staying ambitious yet pragmatic with the product.
